Foundation

A foundation is a important part of anything that you create. All building start with a firm foundation. Before you can learn something new you must have a firm foundation of material before that. Foundations are very important. 

Just like in other creations foundation is a very important aspect of beauty in a bottle. Foundation is the beginning of achieving beautiful makeup. Foundation helps to cover up many flaws and make your skin appear smooth. 

These are many different kinds of beauty in a bottle. Foundation is the first step of all of these.

There are many important steps that you should follow when applying foundation. First, you must choose the right shade of foundation. This is very important. If you choose the wrong shade of foundation then nothing about your makeup will appear to look right. When applying the foundation be sure to get it smoothed out evenly on your face and neck. You do not want makeup lines. It is best to use a makeup applicator to apply foundation. If foundation is put on correctly it can look like the work of a professional makeup artist. Why spend all that money to get your makeup done when you can do it yourself?

There are many different types of foundation. Not only are there different brands, but there are also different kinds for each skin type. I prefer Revlon ColorStay for normal/dry skin. This foundation goes on very smoothly and it can be applied without makeup lines. It is advertised that it will be stay on 24 hours, however, I have found that after about ten or twelve hours it needs some touch-ups. This foundation also has a light sunscreen in it so it is great if you plan to be in the sun a lot.

You can achieve skin that appears this smooth simply by  using the right foundation.

Once your foundation has been applied correctly you may choose to apply more makeup or you might choose to just wear foundation. Many people wear foundation without other makeup. Foundation has a big impact on how your skin appears.

Technology in the Classroom

Technology plays a major role in today's society. Students are beginning to get practice with this technology not long after they start school. This will help prepare them for future jobs as well as make it easier for some of them to learn the material.  Teachers are beginning to incorporate technology into their classrooms in many different ways. 

In the video Harness Your Student's Digital Smarts one teacher tells the story of how she uses technology in the classroom. Students are using technology in every aspect of their learning experience. Students all learn differently and with technology currently on the rise a lot of students learn best using technology. In her classroom students not only use the technology to learn, but they also get the chance to teach the class. I believe this gives students more motivation to learn. If they know they have to use the information to teach the class then they will be more likely to make sure they are familiar with the material. This would allow students to have a good lesson planned. The teacher even stated that the students had taught her things she did not know. If students are interested in what they are learning or the items that they are using to learn about the material then they will be more likely to explore the material further. This is important because every student should have the chance to learn in the way that they learn the best. 

As a future teacher I believe that I should use many different methods in my classroom to help the students learn. Since technology is on the rise I believe that it is important that students get the chance to explore different types of technology. Letting students teach the class from time time would get the students more interested in the material.

In my future classroom I could allow students to use technology as a method of learning.Students could have many different assignments involving technology. This would give every student a better chance of learning the material.

Social Networking

Social networking has became a big ordeal in the past few years. Social networking is used a lot by teens however, it is also used in classrooms and businesses today. Some of the more common social networking sites are Facebook and Twitter. Most people have used social networking at some point in time. Is the rise of social networking a good thing?

In the blog "Negative Effects of Social  Networking Sites for Students" the author discusses all of the ways that social networking is bad for students. The author states that he believes that the negative aspects of social networking outweigh the positives. According to the author students rely more on these sites and do not actually do their own research. These sites also hinder students ability to lean because they waste their time when they could be studying on these sites. The author also talks about the negative effects it can have on the health of students. I realize that all of these are true, but I believe that the author should have at least discussed some of the positive effects.

Twitter is another social networking site.

The article "5 Positive Effects of Social Media" tells the positive side to social networking. Social networking allows us to keep in contact with others which at times can be a good thing. This article also states that social networking is a way to spread news. Social networking allows people to build stronger relationships and bonds with each other by keeping in contact more often. I think it is good that someone told the positive effects of social networking. 

Social networking sites can be accessed through cellphones allowing users to always have access to these sites.

I believe that social networking can be a good thing if used the right way. Students need to learn to manage their time. With the growing popularity of social networking sites students should be taught about how to be safe on these sites. If students use these sites in the wrong way then they can have many negative effects. Social networking can be a fun and enjoyable way to keep in touch with people if we allow it to be.

Introduction

 Every woman loves beauty. Most women choose to use makeup, nail polish, or some other kind of beauty products. This blog is all about different kinds of beauty products. There will be reviews on different kinds of beauty products as well as some helpful tips for you to follow. 

I was born and raised in Delight, Arkansas. I attended school at Delight High School until my senior year when we were forced to consolidate. I then graduated at Murfreesboro High School. This experience allowed me to meet many new people and have many different experiences. I graduated as valedictorian of my class and I was involved in many different activities. I served as district officer for FCCLA as well as local officers for many other clubs. I was also a Delight High School cheerleader my sophomore year.  

I am currently a freshmen at Henderson State University. I plan to major in secondary math education. I have many great memories of my teachers and this inspires me to become a teacher and follow in their footsteps. 

In my free time I work as a carhop at the Murfreesboro sonic. I also enjoy many different activities such as shopping, attending concerts, going to Magic Springs, and going swimming. During the summer if I was not working most of my Saturday nights were spent at the Diamond Park Speedway race track. I attended the Hillarosa Mud Bog this past weekend and had a great time. 

I spent a lot of time around my family growing up. Every summer we took family vacations together. I have been all over the United States and I have even been to Canada. This summer we plan to travel to California. I love to travel.
